I'm no professional when it comes to photography, but I do have an eye for composition. I bought by current camera - a Sony DSC-H1 - about 3 years or so back, and considering that I upgrade my gadgets fairly frequently, I have surprisingly stuck by the DSC-H1 for a very long time now. The DSC-H1 is a 5 MP digital camera with a 12x optical zoom - what is most impressive about it is the way it captures light, its simplicity and ease of use. Given below are some of the good macro-like shots taken by me with the DSC-H1. Most of these were captured at the Royal Botanical Gardens, Edinburgh around April-May 2009 (the daisies and the yellow rose were captured near my home).
